Funerals, Celebrations of Life and Memorials

I’m so sorry.

Losing a loved one is momentous and may be the most upsetting time of your life. On top of everything you are going through, you will want to give your loved one the best ceremony you can to say ‘goodbye’ to them. Alternatively, you may choose to create a ceremony a little while afterwards, to celebrate or give thanks for their life. Or both. I can help you craft a special and personalised  ceremony to honour, remember and say a final goodbye to your loved one, in a place of your choosing.

You may wish to put together what you would like for your own service for when the time comes and it would be my privilege to assist you in planning for that occasion, too.

For each different ceremony, you will be able to select the music, readings, poems and activities you would like and I can provide suggestions from which you can choose. These can reflect the wishes or religious beliefs of your loved one; it is your choice entirely.

There are creative and commemorative ways to create a real point of focus… or to include younger mourners in a service like this. You will find more details about some possibilities on the ‘Something Special’ page.

There are no rights or wrongs about the way you wish the ceremony for your loved one to go but I will be there for you to talk through different possibilities and offer advice if it is needed.

Here are some reviews:

“Just a short note to thank you so much for the time you spent with us regarding my mother’s funeral and the subsequent eulogy and funeral service. I was so pleased with how it all went on the day. Other members of the family have received the order of service and eulogy.  Everyone found the readings you sourced for me to be very moving and thought the eulogy was beautifully written and captured my mother’s spirit perfectly.”  (VS)

“Thank-you so much – on behalf of the whole family – for being the celebrant at my dear husband’s funeral. You managed to capture the essence of him and communicate it with such warmth. We can’t thank you enough!” (MG)

“Thank you so much for today, you did it beautifully, just perfect, it was a lovely service.” (J T-B)

“Thank-you so much for delivering such a warm service yesterday, Tracy. It was difficult day and you did a wonderful job.” (RH)
