Please Note:
According to the law at present in England and Wales, a wedding conducted by a celebrant is not a legally binding “marriage”. You will still need to conduct the required legal part at your local Registry Office in what can be a simple, quick statutory service – without even rings or vows but with just two witnesses. You can do this either before or after your celebrant-led wedding ceremony – the one with all the bells and whistles you desire!
